Firstly, well done. Joining a gym is a fantastic, positive move if you want to improve your health and fitness – the facilities, equipment and our staff will help you on your fitness and wellbeing journey. However, where do you even start?
We understand that walking into the gym for the first time can be a daunting experience, because it’s a step into the unknown. Getting the most out of your membership requires more than plodding on the treadmill for five minutes then repeating the same three dumbbell exercises each and every time you visit. You need both a plan and the willingness to try new things if you’re going to get the most out of your membership.
Fortunately, we are here to help! Our fully qualified gym instructors are on hand to give you advice at all times as well as offering free Gym Journeys of your choice – see below. These will help show you all the equipment in our gym and teach you how to use it, create a personalised workout plan for you and even review your progress once you’ve got into a routine.

This session is a great starting point to any health & fitness journey and can help you monitor your improvement over the weeks and months to come.
One of our qualified gym instructors will talk you through your Boditrax results. They will explain the functionality of the App so you can review your results in your own time.

Increase your confidence in the gym and introduce correct exercise techniques. Suitable for those who are looking for support and guidance from one of our qualified gym instructors. Enjoy a 1 to 1 consultation to discuss your goals. Exercises will be demonstrated by the instructor and a programme card written for you to follow.

30 minute review of your progression to date
Review your progression with one of our qualified gym instructors and challenge yourself both physically and mentally, by varying your exercise pattern.
